Large Antique 1950s Chiltern Hugmee Bear "Godfrey" with Label 

Godfrey is the most handsome large 1950s antique Chiltern Hugmee bear with Chiltern label retained to side seam (label faded but readable). 22 inches in height, Godfrey is an amazing example who's obviously been well treasured to have remained in such beautiful condition today. Completely all original with amber/black plastic eyes and nose, excellent nose/mouth stitching and the most gorgeous cuddly thick coverage of rich golden mohair. His velveteen pads are extremely good and strong with just light rubbing and all but one of his claws are retained too. Non working squeaker in his tummy. All joints nice and firm, he poses beautifully and would make an outstanding addition to any "hug". Godfrey looks the perfect gentleman in smart waistcoat knitted by my mum (thanks mum x). He also wears his original spotty bow which is quite tatty but still suits him perfectly!.
