(1920) Fortescue

Fortescue is approx. 40 cms tall [16"] with a very long body and very long arms, unusual shaped feet with thin ankles. His face is very Steiff like with sewn on ears and a triangular nose. However he is an American bear. He has a hump and the final seam is to the front body. Filling is woodwool very hard stuffed and his covering is a shortish pile yellow mohair. His replacement pads have been removed. There is overall wear but the only small holes are on the back of the feet and legs. He has one of those large weighted growlers which no longer works and the wrong eyes.
