(1920) Alexander

'Alexander' is a wonderful example of an early British Teddy Bear. He is mohair with clear glass eyes with black pupils. Brown replaced stitched nose and mouth. He has had his original beige wool felt pads professionally replaced.  He is 20" in height.

Farnell were at the forefront of British Teddy Bear manufacture from as early as 1908, they made the original bear purchased by AA Milne for his son Christopher Robin and became immortalised in his Winnie the Pooh book series.

Alexander would make a lovely addition to any bear collection.
