z(1920) Steiff Zottelbar. Stanley. Josie Rockett
Stanley is showcased by Josie Rockett
Stanley is a wonderful Steiff "Zottelbar" made in the 1920s. He has long shaggy brown mohair fur and is unjointed. These bears were designed to stand on all fours but over time and after being much cuddled Stanley's stuffing has broken down in his tummy so he prefers to sit on his bottom (I love this!). He measures 13 inches long and 9 inches tall. He is entirely wood wool filled and has a non working side squeaker. His felt pads are in great condition and he has his original glass eyes. I have included a photo of him propped up to give an idea of how he would look standing. Stanley is such a sweetheart, he really is an adorable bear. He no longer has his button.
