z(1920) Steiff Polar Bear. Laura Fitzpatrick

Here is a large Steiff Polar Bear showcased by Laura Fitzpatrick.

He has his trailing f button. His nose & mouth stitching is replaced and his neck mechanism is very stiff. Has a lot of repairs and tatty areas. This is how he usually sits propped up on his Steiff ball. Polar has his jacket/shirt that some little hands made for him. he is posing with a velvet trout pincushion.  Maybe Dean's but I couldn't find any marks.  It almost looks like George Studdy could have designed it!
