"NIGELA" is a 1930 CHILTERN HUGMEE teddy bear with a working growler. 

 Beautiful antique 1930s Chiltern Hugmee teddy bear is in excellent original condition. Nigela stands 18" tall and is stuffed with kapok with excelsior in her head. Beautiful, original painted back glass eyes are present. The outer stitches of her vertically stitched nose extend upward slightly. Mouth stitching is also in great condition and gives her a wide, enigmatic smile. She's got those drumstick (thick) little legs with large feet reinforced with cardboard. All four paw pads appear original possibly having lost the velveteen pads soft texture. There has been some mohair loss mainly through her waist area where the squeaker is.
