1930s Antique Merrythought Bear "Birdie" with Label & Squeaker 

Birdie gained her name due to her adorable long pointy "beak-like" snout and delightfully "honky" squeaker!!. She's a beautiful well loved old Merrythought bear dating to the 1930s. 15 inches in height, she has amber/black glass eyes, "drop corner" nose/mouth stitching and original cloth pads. Birdie's mohair is sparse but light fluffy/tufty areas remain with slightly thicker coverage to back. She retains her Merrythought foot label which is grubby but still readable. Birdie has fully working chest squeaker and wears antique lace "shawl" with vintage brooch.
