(1930) Major Tom

Major Tom is an old teddy bear dating to 1930. Measuring a good 21" from pads to tips of ears, he has rexine pads which are worn.Three stitched claws remain on all four pads. He has original large glass eyes, distinctive down turned nose stitching with stitched mouth all intact. He is filled with wood wool throughout with a growler which still works a little. Mohair coverage is good except on his legs where there is balding to thighs and feet pads. Great expression and a lovely old character.
