SOLD (1940) Hugmee Persephone £125

Persephone is a 1940's blonde mohair flat faced Chiltern Hugmee teddy bear. This lovely Chiltern teddy bear stands at 16" tall and is five ways jointed and stuffed with wood wool in her head and kapok in her body. She has been loved, but she is still a sturdy girl and has retained almost all of her original features including her amber and black plastic safety eyes and vertically stitched nose. She still retains a fairly good covering of her blonde mohair with some thinning and small bare patches particularly on her belly, arms and head but I would estimate she still retains about 80% coverage. Her pale velvet paw pads and carded feet are in good condition with minor loss to the surface plush but with no holes or any other damage.
