Thuringia bear made in Germany 1940 (Ruth) and Chiltern bear 1940.

Many toy companies were established in the region around the town of Sonneberg, which grew up to be the world's most famous toy area. Also more and more suppliers of doll and Teddy Bear accessories founded their little workshops all around the area like the Eye Makers or the Voice Makers. Sonnenberg had the famous Industrial School for Toy Design and the Toy Museum.
