French maker Jan Jac Showcased by Polly's Vintage Bears

Jacques is a 1950 French Bear in a gold plush made by Jan Jac in Paris, France. He is 21" tall. The only information I can find about this company is that they made bears in the 1950's, mostly with a little red tongue as this one has.  The only other information I have about him is that he was purchased 20 years ago in a French antique shop.  As you see he has his original swing tag.

Description
