Sold. Pedigree (1950) Label Harry
Harry is a lovely Pedigree bear made around 1955. He has all of his original features and has had no repairs. Over all his condition is fair. He has lost a lot of his golden mohair and he has some water stains on the back of his head, his left arm, the tip of his right ear and his chest. He still has his Pedigree "Made in Ireland" label but it is torn and frayed. His beige velveteen pads are worn. His head is also wobbly but his joints are secure and he can still sit unaided. His head and body are wood wool filled and his limbs are kapok stuffed. He measures 18 inches long when lying down. You can see another of these wonderful teds on page 92 of the Pauline Cockrill Teddy Bear Encyclopaedia. Harry is by no means a perfect ted but he is one of the cheekiest chaps I have ever had the pleasure to meet. You can not help but smile when you look at him, he is such a sweet heart. If you like loved bears with character then you will love him. A good solid bear
