SOLD "VIVIAN" Showcased by thekissablemuzzle.                                                 21" 2nd STYLE KNICKERBOCKER TEDDY BEAR ULTRA RARE ANTIQUE c.1925-30

Extremely rare antique, white Knickerbocker 1920s Teddy Bear is in excellent condition. She is an elegant 21" tall, fully jointed, has white mohair and a sweet little muzzle. Appears to be the 2nd style of Knickerbocker Teddy Bear as her body parts (arms, legs) are identical to those of the 1st Knickbocker bear. She has maintained a thinner torso with a slight humpback.

Her large head and ears with a vertically stitched nose and thinner, longer muzzle appear to be the "new" look Knickerbocker was experimenting with pre-1930.

Her body is kapok stuffed and her head is stuffed with excelsior. She has glass amber eyes that are in very good condition although appear to be replacing same look and feel from originals. Those large Knickerbocker signature cup ears are in great shape. Back squeaker is non-working. Mohair is worn in a few little spots such as the back of her head. Being white makes thinned spots difficult to see. All four paw pads are felt and original with a few age spots.
