(1920) Bing. Rudolf

Rudolf is a most magnificent bear.

He is 43cm sitting, (60cm standing) which according to the sizing catalogue is the next size down from the largest size of 50cm sitting. He's tipped and from the 1920s. We bought him in Neustadt, Germany earlier this year on a buying trip, from the original owners family. There is an accompanying photograph of the original owner  and a little provenance. He is the only large tipped Bing like this that we have seen and he is also in really super condition, with just one small hole to the tip of one paw and slight fading to one arm. He is all original with very unusual red nose stitching, with the typical Bing outer stitching coming under the longer centre stitching. His four claws all round are also in red. He also has the seams down the back of his slightly bent legs and a nice humpback. He's a heavy quality example and his growler still works.
