(1920) Bing. Bonhomie

Bonhomie is a (16 ins) Bing bear from the Cotswold teddy bear Museum with a wonderfully cheeky, gentle, grand-fatherly face. He has the typical large ears, and clipped snout of a 1920’s Bing and retains his original glass eyes.  The old boy is woodwool stuffed and has a large tilt growler no longer working, but his joints are sound. His legs are seamed at the back. A cracking chap. He was sold at Bonhams in 1995 as a Steiff. Someone paid £3000 for him. He comes with his Bonhams tag and catalogue. Lot 524
