SOLD (1930) Scruff. F.A.D.A.P Confirmed by Eric Petit.
SOLD
Do you know what make she is? Yes we do! Eric Petit (French teddy bear expert) can confirm that Scruff is a F.A.D.A.P.
Very Pretty, large well loved, old white mohair teddy bear. Her long mohair coat has thinned over the years as she has been held, hugged and loved. She has pretty original glass eyes, is fully jointed, and although you can feel the joints, they are very stiff. There is a repair to her left paw and left foot and small hole in right foot. There is something in her tummy, which i presume is a growler that no longer works and her right leg feels like she has lost a slight amount of stuffing. Her head is hard and her tummy when pressed sounds scrunchy like straw. She comes in her pretty reversable blue corduroy dress. This beautiful girl is 20" from tip of ear to end of foot. Paws feel like felt. You dont see many white vintage bears these days, and one certainly not as pretty as this one. Also in unidentified section.
