SOLD (1910) Squint

Squint is a 1910 American bear. Sold at auction as
"An early 20th Century American blond mohair teddy bear with black button eyes and hump, 21.25ins high (circa 1910)"

He has his original button eyes, horizontally stitched nose sitting in the V where the triangle meets the nose, and is in very good condition. He is approximately 22" tall to the top of his ears. He has a triangular shaped head. He is 5 ways jointed. He has his original felt paws which are patched. He has four stitches on each paw and 5 on each pad. He is stuffed with wood wool. Very thin ankles. Joints look very old, the arms and legs sit away from the body slightly and are quite loose looking even though they are properly attached and stable.
