(1920) Emeritus
A 1920's Early English Chiltern type character teddy bear. Emeritus is a teddy bear standing at 24" tall from the tips of his toes to the tips of his ears. He is completely wood wool stuffed and five ways jointed. He has been loved, but he is still a sturdy old chap and has managed to retain about 90% of his golden mohair, which is soft and clean. His eyes are clear glass, although he is a little short sighted, and his nose stitching is original. His cotton paw pads are actually in quite good condition. Emeritus wears his Coronation badge with pride. He was in awe of King George and Queen Mary
