Antique Chad Valley Magna Series Bear "Malcolm" - 24 inches!! 
"Malcolm" is a beautiful large Chad Valley MAGNA series bear with red/white embroidered "Chad Valley - Hygienic Toys - Made in England" label to one foot. He's an early bear dating to the 1930s and a very impressive larger size of 24 inches in height!. Malcolm has original glass eyes, good nose and mouth stitching (excellent!) and non working growler in his tummy. Overall good, sturdy and clean for years with areas of balding to his golden mohair (mostly tops of arms from being held) and replacement black velvet hand pads (these have been with him some time as velvet is old and rubbed). His foot pads are original and claws almost all present (one claw to hand lightly loose). Joints good and strong, he poses well. Malcolm is a fabulous early Chad Valley Magna series bear, the larger sized Magna bears rarely come up for sale.
