SOLD (1940) Label Barbara £75

Barbara is a pretty 1938-52 Chad Valley Teddy bear. She stands 15 inches tall (paw to ear). She has original plastic eyes along with original nose and mouth stitching. She’s firmly stuffed with woodwool & kapok. Although her original pads are replaced, an uncovered one is quite worn with some holes but she has retained her Chad Valley label. She has lost patches of her mohair in places (around 45-50% remains) but it actually really suits her & adds to her charm of age. She has a squeeker but decides that she prefers to keep quiet amongst the crowd. Barbara is a sturdy little bear.
