(1953) Label Toffee

Toffee is a rare little "Toffee" She is a 9" Chad valley bear dating from 1953 she retains her Chad label to her foot. She also retains her original red hat and scarf. Toffee retains around 60% of her mohair. She has loss mainly to her face, chest and arms.Her hat has never been removed as the mohair here is very good and there is string where the hat was attached.Original glass eyes and stitched nose and mouth.She is a caramel colour and amazingly her squeaker still works! Toffee was a character from the 1950-1960 BBC childrens radio programme "Listen with mother".
