z(1940) Gilbert. Bygone Bears
Showcased by Bygone Bears
Gilbert is a lovely 1940's Chiltern who had been well loved and repaired several times over the years. I recovered his head, made new ears and restitched his nose and mouth exactly as the original. He is completely wood wool stuffed and five ways jointed. He has been loved, but he is still a sturdy chap and has managed to retain about 50% of his golden mohair, which is soft and clean. His eyes are glass, but his nose stitching is replaced His velveteen paw pads are in very good condition. A lovely chap
